This body of work explores notions of globalism within the context of the international flow of currency . It was not my interest to merely illustrate the location from which the notes originated, but rather to unearth deeper layers of meaning. All of these notes were already dislocated from their ‘natural home.’ If a 10 Swiss franc note is currently in Brisbane, where else may it have been? Where is it most likely to go, politically, geographically, economically? I offer but one of hundreds of potential answers, but the beauty of the work is that we will never really know…
